Kitchen remodeling ideas and recommendations for vendors at the Rockridge Kitchen Tour

Need Bay Area kitchen remodeling ideas and recommendations for designers and contractors ?

You’re in luck! The Rockridge Kitchen Tour is happening again in 2026!

I love the Rockridge Kitchen Tour, not only because my own kitchen is desperately in need of updating. If you love going to open houses for remodeling ideas, you must come to the tour on September 27th. It’s like open houses on steroids!

For the second time, I have had the pleasure of helping line up advertisers and sponsors to support this incredible tour of remodeled Rockridge kitchens. The tour is a fundraiser for Oakland’s Rockridge Community Planning Council (RCPC).

Whether you live in Berkeley, Oakland, Lafayette or even San Francisco, if you have #kitchenremodelgoals be sure to get a ticket for this event, 12:30-5:30pm. Walking around looking at kitchens and houses is a great way to get to know our Rockridge community.

And if you see a house for sale, I will be nearby stationed at one of the houses to help you investigate, if you like!

The tickets are $50, to explore renovated kitchens in 8 Rockridge houses and 2 ADUs.

Here is a peek at some of my favorite kitchen features from the Rockrige Kitchen Tour a few years ago:

This is the best way to start planning a kitchen remodel in the East Bay. Why?

  1. You’ll meet the architects, designers, painters, contractors, and even cabinet makers. Theese are the real people — not just online Pins — who helped homeowners choose their remodel materials, set budgets, and navigate Oakland permitting. The tour is a very rare and efficient opportunity to see your remodel options and start deciding.
  2. You receive a booklet with the stories from each homeowner of their remodel goals, their experiences working with . I still have my 2024 kitchen tour booklet on hand, as the resources are invaluable, from brands of cabinets to paint colors.
  3. Chat in depth with builders and lenders about financing for your remodel as well as realtors including ME. We’ll be at tables in front of each house.

Learn all about living in Rockridge and kick off your home reno dreams at this fun tour.
